Course description

The book aims to provide a practical approach to both common and difficult urological disease entities along with best treatment policies which are practical, workable and capable of producing good treatment outcomes in the Indian context. The volume shall endeavour to make assimilation of the subject easy by providing crystallized versions of difficult to cover material available in the literature of repute.

This is a multi-authored book and each author has followed a fixed format prescribed for uniformity and ease of reading. The format of the book is case based discussion format. Each chapter starts with a words gist of the topic, followed by description of the case with appropriate images and videos (Videos are QR coded and embedded). This is followed by discussion of the case in a question–answer format as if the examiner is asking questions to a student. At the end of the case a box is inserted for important/salient points.

The book would serve to be an important source of knowledge and information for residents in training and urologist alike.
